Online Consultations

We have recently launched a new online consultation service. This can be used to getadvice on conditions, or request advice from your doctor here at the surgery. Click HERE to access the system, or click the image on any page of this website.

Change in Prescription Charges

From 1st April 2017 the prescription charge will be £8.60.  Please see the prescriptions tab for further information.

New IT System

  • Harris Memorial Surgery Tuesday mornings.

This clinic is run by the midwives. If you become pregnant, you will be given a ‘booking appointment’ at which the midwife will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks. You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy either at the practice or at the local hospital, or both.

Health Visitor Harris Memorial Surgery

  • 1.30pm – 3.00pm  

All new babies are invited for regular check-ups with the Health Visitors. 

First immunisations are normally given at the eight week check. Please make appointment with the reception staff to see the Doctor followed by an appointment with the Practice Nurse for the immunisations.

Minor surgery 

Minor operations can be done in our treatment room at Harris Memorial Surgery.  Please discuss this with your doctor who will then arrange for you to be given an appointment. 


Led by Dr Davies and our Practice Nurse they offer advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with diabetes.

Led by the Practice Nurses, this clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease.

Asthma sufferers can make an appointment for advice and support from our nurses who specialise in asthma care. 

Stopping smoking 

Run by our practice nurses, this clinic gives advice and support to patients trying to give up smoking.
