Do It Online

To view your medical record, order medication or manage appointments, login to the NHS Website or get the NHS App

From December the NHS is making it easier for you to access your medical record online.

By 31st October 2023, all adults signed up for the NHS App or NHS website will automatically gain access to their full medical record online.

All information added to your medical record after this date will be visible, alongside your medicines and allergies. You will not automatically gain access to information added prior to this date and if you join the surgery after 31st October 2023, you will only see information added after your registration date.

Some patients will not automatically get full access on 31st October for safety or confidentiality reasons.  If you are affected by this then the surgery will review your record and/or talk to you about it before granting you full access.

Your medical information is confidential to you. Nobody has a right to view your record without your permission. Do not share your login details with anyone else.

You can request "proxy" access to your child's record or the record of an adult that you care for. This usually requires the consent of the patient, depending on their age.

If you would like to discuss your access or request further access (to your old diagnoses or blood test results for example) then please get in touch.

To ask about access to your online record, please email onlineaccess.harrismemorial@nhs.net

If you have a medical need for urgent access, then please speak to our receptionists about your medical problem or send an online consultation from our home page.

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices
