For advice and treatment when our practice is closed, call NHS111 on 111.

For life threatening conditions call 999.

Online Consultations

We have an online consultation service. It is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This can be used to get advice on conditions, or request advice from your doctor here at the surgery. Click HERE to access the system, or click the image on any page of this website.

Cancelling your Appointment

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

Change in Prescription Charges

From 1st April 2018 the prescription charge will be £8.80.  Please see the prescriptions tab for further information.

We use text messages for a number of purposes, including appointment reminders and cancellations. Please ensure we have your up-to-date contact details.

Appointments

To book an appointment at Harris Memorial Surgery phone 01209 842449 and at Lanner phone 01209 218882. Alternatively you can submit an eConsult through this website.

Urgent cases are seen on the day. Please call at 8am to arrange a Telephone Triage call from a clinician.

If your condition is non-urgent, you may not be called on the day, though you may have to wait longer if you want to speak to a particular GP.  If you don't need an appointment within two working days, you also have the option to book up to four weeks in advance if this is more convenient for you, subject to availability.

Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions.

We can help you

  • Please make sure we have your up-to-date contact details. And if you call is an Emergency.
  • Let us know if more than one person in the family needs to be seen. We can give you a longer appointment if necessary. 
  • Tell us if you want someone to accompany you during an examination or a private room to discuss any matters. Remember that the results of tests can only be given to the patient. 
  • You can call to have a telephone consultation with a clinician. He or she will ring you, usually on the same day.  Please note that we cannot guarantee the time of this call. 

You can help us by:

  • Being on time for your appointment
  • Letting us know if you need to cancel
  • Calling for a home visit request or urgent appointment before 10am
  • Ringing for a repeat prescription - requests can be left on our voicemail facility
  • Ringing for the results of tests after 2pm.
