We have a Social Prescriber working all day Tuesdays. She can offer much longer appointments than a GP and can help to find non-medical ways improve your health and wellbeing.
We are aware of a growing number of Internet pharmacies that offer to deliver your medication to your door. Pharmacy2U and Well.co.uk are two such organisations. You may receive advertisements from these companies in your mail.
They are not endorsed by us (your GP surgery) and they are not NHS organisations, although they do issue medication on NHS prescriptions. They do not have branches that you can walk in-to, or people that you can speak to face-to-face. If you need medication immediately you will still need to visit a high-street pharmacy or one our dispensaries.
We would like our patients to have a choice, but we hope that you continue to support our practice dispensaries and our local pharmacies in order to keep these services available. If you have difficulty getting out of the house then our dispensers, or your local pharmacy, may be able to deliver your medicines to you, please ask.
Evening and Weekend Appointments
The Practice is now offering Saturday and Sunday appointments. Saturdays allow the ability to pre-book for both GP and Nurses, and Sundays for GP only appointments.
Please ask at reception for current availability.
